Daily Writing Prompt Day 1

Prompt(story starter): In another world, each person's name reflects their destiny. Your character is the first to ever change their name... 

In my world your name decides your destiny. Sues become writers, Lincolns become music artists, and Harleys become mechanics and so on. My parents named me Georgia, they wanted me to be a screen writer. For 18 years I lived as Georgia. Not once in 18 years have I ever connected with the name. 

I'm 18 now so I can legally change my name. It hasn't been done since they discovered that your name decides your fate. 

I went to the court house today to change my name. Once people heard of what I was doing they swarmed me telling me that I was throwing away everything. That Georgia is a respectable name and that screen write is the perfect job for me. I agree Georgia is a respectable name and screen write is an awesome job just not for me. 

I did it. I changed my name. I'm no longer Georgia! I chose a rare name that no one has with the same job. I chose Visha! I'm going to be the very first Visha to be a streamer.
