10/10.
The Execution of All Things is perhaps the most depressing album I've ever heard. I really wish I could do a really nice analysis of it, but I just can't do that sort of thing with albums. One thing I will note is the album's reoccurring interlude, "That's How I Choose To Remember It". It's unlike anything I've ever seen in an album. Without spoiling too much, this is Rilo Kiley at their peak, and Jenny Lewis yet again succeeds at destroying my mood with no effort.
Appendix: I have a small half-joke about Rilo Kiley; while the band isn't very much considered "emo", I say they're the truest emo band of all time, due in part to the fact that they're the most depressing band of all time.
