Somewhere far to the mind and close to the heart
A crack of lightning and a sheet of rain
It pours gloriously and terribly heavy
With it, washes away the pain
The sorrow now buried in the soil, used to be seen and felt so clearly
A boom of thunder and a sheet of rain
It pours spectacularly and miserably heavy
With it, washes the joy of a childhood memory
The joy now buried in the soil, hidden in the depths of a reminiscing brain
Here, the rain pours relentlessly
The dirt compact with fear and joys and memories of the sort
Far away and out of reach, a rainbow shines pleasantly
Flowers grow through the rain, blooming from the soil of joy and fear
Despite the rain, hope blooms, far and near
I've been struggling a bit with change and things like that, so I wrote a poem about it for the first time in SO LONG. Tell me what y'all think!! This is my first blog ever SO IM REALLY NERVOUS, but im hoping to blog some more!
