AbbyNormal Reviews EP1 - The invasion

Welcome to the first episode of my serie "AbbyNormal Reviews", where I share my thoughts on movies I watch.

The title of this serie is a reference to Young Frankenstein, one of my favorite movies.

But now let's start with the first film.

I just finished watching The Invasion.

Yes, another movie with Daniel Craig. Now I'm obsessed with him.

I really liked it.

An alien virus is rapidly infecting all of humanity, its victims becoming inhuman and devoid of feelings. Carol, with Ben's help, sets out to find her son Oliver, who was with his father, Tucker, a victim of the virus.

I'm not a big fan of alien movies (I prefer zombies), but I love apocalyptic films (Train to Busan and The Great Flood are among my favorites), so I really enjoyed it.

It's a very engaging action movie that keeps you glued to the screen.

Of course, there's the inevitable car chase (which is on fire at one point), running, gunfire and all that. A classic action movie.

The scenes where Carol had to try not to show emotion to avoid getting caught were great.

A fight for survival that reminds us what it means to be human: to have emotions that sometimes get the better of us, and most of all: to be imperfect.

Daniel Craig plays a great character, I'm happy about that.

It was a beautiful watch.
