first off itch.io has a shit ton of free vns. theyre usually short but theyre soo good. but also theres one called guilty parade. its about a post apocalyptic war and a guy who has amnesia trying to navigate it. its available on steam for like $16 (theyre a 2 person dev team so i dont blame them) and its actually so good. playtime is about 8-10 hours and its currently unfinished but as far as i know theres only 2 "endings" if you can even call them that in the most recent episode 4. its superr good :))))))))))
you can also find a bunch if u just look up 'visual novel' in the google play store. idk abt apple but it should be similar. quality not guaranteed tho ive seen some odd ones

well, a lot of the best VNs contain adult content so I can't recommend them here but Z.A.T.O. is an exceptional one that is also age appropriate for everyone(although it is still horror so do keep in mind if anyone is too chicken for horror games)
I know, most them have really strong content but I just like how everyone have their ones style and way of making stories.

I donβt read that many visual novels anymore, I used to read them more before, but I still really like them. There are a lot on Itch.io β I know that thanks to a YouTube channel I watch. I often come across some Jujutsu Kaisen ones, along with many other varied projects that are personal creations by the authors. Also, not all of them there are paid like My Candy Love; it really depends. I love it. The last one I played isnβt finished yet, you should definitely check out the stuff there. π
yep;)

Honestly I really like any type, I don't have like a specific type.

I really really love VA11 Hall-A but there's not a lot of route options. A Date With Death was fun too, the humor really really great in both of these
I had play A date with a death as well and I too think is a great concept and story but I will try VA11.

I made one actually because I'm indecisive and I couldn't decide on the ending for a story I was writing lol
It was way harder than I expected and I'll probably never do it again LMAO but likeee if this is a cool place to plug my game, it's freeeee the story is just a lil dark and the characters are sometimes annoying on purpose
It's called Atlas Ablaze :)
I will definitely try your game, I already found it and it seem really interesting and I love the style.

I'm glad you like it :) I wasn't sure how well my pixel art would fit in a visual novel but it's more fun to draw that way.
What are some of your favorite visual novels btw? I haven't played a lot but I really like them.
Also, if you're ever looking for something funny you should try Hatoful Boyfriend. It's a dating sim about birds where every route is a different kind of crazy, like one bird is a god of pudding? It's so hard to explain LMAO
