I turned on my wii after 9 years and found some stranger's pic

    So when I was a toddler-kid my sister got a wii for christmas. We used it a lot and had so much fun until one day years later, the disk reader broke, so we stopped using it.

Fast-forward to a couple of weeks ago, my parent's friend came over to my house with his son who is around my age. He is like a videoconsole fan and all that. I told him I had a 20 year old wii. I thought nothing in the console would work anymore since I was a kid when it broke so i didn't really know I could still use it without playing any games, so he explained to me what happened to the console and we decided to turn it on since it had been abandoned for a long time. We were trying to connect it to my TV, but a cable was missing, so we didn't end up actually doing it.

That night, thinking about it, it made me really nostalgic because we had a lot of saved miis from that time and the console in general brings back memories, so I made it my mission to turn it on. I went to my basement and started looking for that cable, and I found it! Then, I ran upstairs and connected my wii. I almost started crying when it turned on lol.

After looking at my old miis and almost crying a couple of times, I started exploring the wii. I found out that the name of the console was Daniel. Then, I came across the photo gallery.  I didn't know the wii had a photo gallery, so I entered to check what was there and I found a picture of some kid (13 ish) with who I guessed was his father, and it said that was uploaded to the wii in 2007. Then, in 2010 there was an edited version of that pic, giving the dad a moustache and some funny effects. My wii was given to us by our cousins, so my theory is that they also found the photo and edited it to look funny.

So yeah If your name is Daniel and you sold your wii between 2007 and 2010 be aware that I have your pics.
