Need some advice for haircare from fellow scene kids!1

Recently I've been starting to get more serious with teasing and layering my hair. I'd say I'm pretty good at it so far, but I need help with something else. Where I live the humidity is horrible, and I'm sick of taking an hour to do my hair only to walk outside and see it curl back up (I straighten my hair) and get all frizzy. SICK OF IT. Does anyone have any advice on how to combat frizzy hair?? PLZZZZZZZZZ

Anti humidity spray works like a charm for me, especially the stuff from John Freida. Just spray some onto your hair right before you straighten it and then bake it into your hair and you'll be all good to go once you've finished. :)

okok wait maybe if your hair is like naturally curly then you could just use ur natural hair for your scene hairstyle. especially since my hair is about 3c/4a texture it naturally has more volume than if i were to straighten and tease it. im pretty sure theres some tutorials or inspo pics for curly/scene hair on pinterest/youtube. in my personal experience i like to use my natural hair for my emo hair bc of the volume (and also so i dont have to straighten it and suffer heat damage.) but just keep trying to work with your natural hair and see whats right for you since everyone is different 🖤
