have u guys seen teh whole "we're going BACK to physical media in 2026!!!" thing?? it feels so per4mative ... ive been using cds and old tech for A WHILE now and im scared this will affect prices or old tech I like,,, I barely even buy old tech anyways becuz most of my stuff is hand-me-down old tech, there's so many people trying to sell old flip phones for like 200 BUCKS??? ugh I hate seeing this becoming a trend, I mean I'm glad people are being introduced 2 old tech but some people are def doing it for the views... its kinda ironic a lot of them are posting "embrace physical media reject social media" stuff ON social media.

Ive seen the original post and the person seems genuine about what theyre saying even thought the videos with the images of myspace emos definetely make it feel like an aesthetic or trend... basically its not made to be a trend but kind of like a sign to evaluate how your usage of technology is affecting your own mental health, and physical media is just one of those waysnto cut back on social media and phone usage. Itll only be a trend if people treat it like that instead of a lifestyle change
yeah I agree but I feel like using those images will just make people see it as an aesthetic or a trend heh
