I fucking hate metal elitists

I might sound like a poser rn but idgaf,but why does the metal community love abusing the word poser so much,because tell me why I was talking to one of the only other metalheads at my school about metal bands we like and he deadass called me a poser because my favorite band is slipknot and i love babymetal,because according to him these are "poser bands",like wtf,it's not like these are the only bands i know and listen to,so why do they care so much??.it's almost like they love using that word because they themselved don't think they are metal enough so they put others down,i mean,sure some ppl are actually posers but u can't call someone a poser because you don't like the bands they listen to.i think its making people not want to be in the metal community .metalheads,do better.
