Happy New Year! I hope to check out some records coming out this year (including albums by Earl Sweatshirt, Alvvays, Mitski, Bjork, SZA, Beach House, Arcade Fire, Kendrick Lamar and more).
For now, what are some of y'all's favorite songs and albums from 2021?
Personally, Tyler's CMIYGL took the prize for me.
I wish I gave Adele's 30 album more time, but I haven't spent too much time listening to it yet. Kanye's Donda was really disappointing, not gonna lie. So was Clairo's Sling. Pom Pom Squad's Death of a Cheerleader was a pretty nice emo/grunge indie rewind.
