AI in school; rant and a request for sources

Honestly I am SO sick and tired of AI being pushed in my school. My tech class had an entire unit dedicated to forcing us to generate AI images and text which was horrible. One of my teachers also uses AI software to give us feedback and we SUSPECT she uses AI to grade our WRITING due to the overuse of emojis and with each response being oddly similar but also too different (if you understand me here). Ex: My response used the format of "glow and grow" while someone else's used a similar alliterated phrase but not the same one. Two of my friends emailed our principal with short essay-like paragraphs with research explaining all of their concerns with AI, which was responded to with "Thank you for your email". My friends then responded to that and said essentially "I put effort into this and all you can do is an automated response?" (I only saw one of their responses, and the one I didn't see is prone to lashing out, but either way even my friend with the respectful response faced the following.) They were then called down to the office and personally yelled at by Dr. J herself and held in the office until LUNCH after being pulled down in THIRD period, missing essentially two and a half classes. I nearly added an email of my own, but another friend of mine (who is moving schools soon and doesn't care about repercussions rn) yelled at Dr. J. Well now it's been over two months and I've decided to write an essay for Dr. J and possibly higher ranking admin! We all have renewed hatred for AI; me specifically after tutoring some 7th graders and seeing one girl enter a prompt longer than the answer she wrote down. Essentially this is a rant but also me asking for help. If you have any CREDIBLE sources PLEASE leave them in the comments I'd love them.
