ranting abt my 2 fav bands cuz why not <3

ok so like to start off, I love music. its so cool and makes me happy and I like to sing/scream songs. anyways my favorite bands are def PUPTHEBAND and Sublime. I love both sm but PUP def takes my number one spot. I'm now going to rant about why I like both and yuppppp. p.s. this is gonna be long, I just need to write all of this down somewhere even if no one sees it......

PUP 

AHHHHHHH <3

so I absofreakinglutly love PUP. they're my go to band no matter what. I can relate to like so much of their music and they're just so cool. not a lot of ppl know who they are and that makes me sad cuz I can't rant about PUP the them. but I just share their music and get others into their music. anywho, their music has gotten me through everything. i've smiled, screamed, sang to, cried, etc. to their lyrics. their music has gotten me through some shit. I went a concert of their back in September and let me say, I cried and was so insanely happy to be there. I love them sm. I have 3 shirts and I have a signed poster from everyone in the band and Jeff Rosenstock's band. they did a collab and it was super cool. I love both smmmmm. Jeff Rosenstock is actually the dude who makes the music for "Craig of the Creek" lollll. but he has a bunch of songs so I recommend looking him up in Spotify and also listening to SLUMLORD by bomb the music industry cuz he sings that song. ANYWAYS BACK TO PUP. so ik I said this already but I LOVE them. my dad originally showed them to me and for the last 4 years, they've been my favorite band. also turns out, my dad works with this dude that is friends with the lead singer of PUP and Jeff Rosenstock and I'm like in awe that he freaking grew up with them. I'm lwk jealous. I wanna meet them so baddddd. and lwk, the lead singer of PUP, Stephan Babcock, he lwk fine but uh anyways. I really really love PUP. I have an entire playlist of like just their songs and know basically every lyricccc. best band ever. My favorite song by them is "Kids" and the one I can most relate to at the Moment is "See you at your funeral". and "Dark days". all super good songs. I also rlly like "DVP", "Scorpion Hill", "Matilda", "Robot writes a love song", "Olive garden", Best revenge", "Rot", and"Anaphylaxis", and "Totally fine". all good songs. honestly, all their songs are good and I love all of their songs so much. I totally recommend and y'all should listen to them bc I want someone to talk abt them with. plsssss

Sublime

alr so I also really love Sublime. almost as much as PUP but not quite. but anyways, I grew up with their music. My dad showed me a few songs and I originally just listened to those few songs and then one day I decided to actually listen to everything and I fucking love them. they're such an awesome band and I love all their songs. I actually drew two albums cuz I was bored and they're hung up on my wall. I drew the "40oz to Freedom" and "Robbin Da Hood". loveeee how they came out. I'll insert and picture below if y'all wanna see. My favorite album is definitely "Robbin Da Hood". Some of my fav songs are "S.T.P.", "Saw Red", "Live At E'S", classic "Santeria", "Wrong Way", "Greatest Hits", "Boss DJ", and "Paddle Out". love their music. I wish Bradley Nowell was still alive cuz I love their music and I wish they could make new music. I mean ik that they released some stuff with Jakob Nowell, his son, and it's pretty cool but not the same. lwk when I found out that Bradley Nowell wasn't alive and died of a heroin overdose way back in '96, I was so sad. he's like so cool and I love him but he's not here anymore to make amazing music. and ik that a lot of their songs are covers but like they're so amazing. and the songs that they have that are original's are soooo good. idk what it is abt their music too but it just helps my anxiety so much. if i'm like freaking out, I just listen to them and I feel better. and also, ik they're well known and not super niche but I love them and always will. I also have a matching "40oz to Freedom" shirt with my dad. 

side note, I forever thank my dad for showing me these two absolutely amazing bands. I will love and cherish them until like the end of time. <3
