the problems with todays technology

i wish we could just live like in the early 2000s but not using your phone most of the time is literally impossible, there is an app 4 school news and changes in the schedule, an app 4 my work schedule, an app 4 EVERYTHING and if you were to give this up i feel like you would be "excluded" from a lot of things. like, i want 2 stop using instagram but i still wanna update people i know (but not so closely) on what im doing in life, i wanna stop using tiktok but then people are gonna reference memes i have no idea exist and as i said i would feel excluded. uninstalling tiktok and instagram would only be okay if my closest friends did 2 lol, wed be in it together and we would all not know those fuckass new brainrot memes
