i allowed myself to fall in love with the 2000s again a little over three years ago and the youngsters have started to get into it just now.

every third post i see online is about the fact that people started abandoning new technology and familiar social media on january 1 in favor of dumbphones, mp3 players, DVD players and cameras. and this is understandable. you want to feel that you own at least something while banal subscriptions will never give you such a feeling.

so far only one thing is unclear. do people really love the 2000s or is it just another fashionable toy for them like a labubu or tiktoks to the song "My Marmalade" in a fur hat?

sorry but i don't want the thing that once saved my psyche, became an inspiration and gave me the desire to live, to become just another trend for people. but who am i to judge others right?
