Wrong Answer, OldGoogle maintainers.

So a few months ago OldGoogle went down.
I had thought it was a technical issue for the longest time, right? Since then i had been coping by using an inferior site mirror, i'd have to power up my workstation to see it, but it's basically the same thing missing a TON of features beyond the main page being basically 1:1 apart from the bottom half being stuck with "Test" for similar searches.
Come to find out, after having discovered Googleplex and began using that, they shut their site down in protest of Google's AI practices?

You know what? Pridefully, might i add, Fuck you. I don't care if you hate Google as a service. I don't care if you're anti-establishment or anti-ai. All you have done is made OUR experience AS USERS on the internet worse as a mere protest against a large corporate entity. We as users didn't give a shit, yet in an act of destructive hate for something we otherwise just grin and bear daily, you made the irrational and overblown decision to strike down a service many of us users used to make an otherwise unbearable experience on the web bearable again.

This does nothing to hurt Google, by the way, as we all will just flock to alternatives like Googleplex or just put up with the service as-is. All you've done is inconvenienced us as your userbase. The only ones who gave a shit was you. If you hated Google so much, you should have handed ownership of the project to someone with less hubris at the first sign of this gnawing moral turbulence.

If you wont host it, then find someone who fucking will. We never gave a single FLYING FUCK about you or your friends' anti-ai holy war. we fucking hate ai too. it's annoying to see the fucking shit everywhere, and a good handful of us go out of our way to avoid it or remove it from the services we use at the client-side, but all you've done is cut us off from a source of convenience in our internet experience. You never fucking implemented AI mode in the first place, why even give a fuck? What did you hope to achieve here? Do you think this makes any of our lives any fucking better?

TLDR; You just let Google win the fight against enshittification. Release the damn source code so someone else with less of a trigger finger can host it, then fuck off.
