Los chicos nunca entenderán a una mujer, y mucho menos a una adolescente, a una ADOLESCENTE. Porque no tenían 11 años, mirándose al espejo preguntándose qué les pasaba, ni escribían blogs sobre trastornos alimenticios ni daban consejos sobre ellos a los 15. No pasan horas preparándose para dormir en una cama que huele a cereza y chocolate, ni se toman el tiempo de ponerse su mejor vestido de algodón y encaje para ir a tomar un café. No soñaron con ser Lotie, ni con un príncipe que los enamorara. No se cortaron la barriga porque odiaran la grasa, ni sus compañeros de clase los llamaron maricones ni se burlaron de ellos por no comportarse como chicos cuando en realidad se sentían como chicas. No se maquillan solo para una foto, no se ríen con la inocencia de una niña, ni se desnudan delante de los demás sin segundas intenciones. Los chicos son estúpidos.

Por eso creé este blog, ¡HOLA! Soy Lolita, también puedes llamarme Lo, y este es un blog de chicas para chicas. Aquí encontrarás de todo, desde consejos de moda y reflexiones hasta publicaciones más cotidianas. No importa tu edad, ya tengas 11, 13, 20 o 40 años, este es un espacio seguro solo para nosotras.

Boys will never understand a woman, much less a teenager, a TEENAGER. Because they weren't 11 years old, staring in the mirror wondering what was wrong with them, nor were they writing blogs about eating disorders or giving advice about them at 15. They don't spend hours getting ready for bed in a bed that smells of cherry and chocolate, nor do they take the time to put on their best cotton and lace dress to go for coffee. They didn't dream of being Lotie, or of a prince charming. They didn't get belly fat because they hated it, nor were they called faggots by their classmates or mocked for not acting like boys when they actually felt like girls. They don't put on makeup just for a photo, they don't laugh with the innocence of a child, nor do they undress in front of others without ulterior motives. Boys are stupid.

That's why I created this blog, HELLO! I'm Lolita, you can also call me Lo, and this is a blog by girls for girls. Here you'll find everything from fashion tips and reflections to more everyday posts. No matter your age—whether you're 11, 13, 20, or 40—this is a safe space just for us.
