I mean, now its popular and if u say it's one of your favourites you'll be called a fake cinephile. but i actually enjoyed it and will never get tired of rewatch it, i personally didnt find it that hard to understand since the first time (i watched it), i like the way you can tell is from the 2000s and the soundtrack is so peak... in the director's cut there's a scene where ''Stay'' by oingo boingo is playing... literally my favourite song with my favourite movie at that moment (2025 August).

My way to explain all of this in my native language is; Imagina no entender algo (una peli) y pasar a juzgar a aquel que si lo hace, y luego llega a ser considerada una pelรญcula de ''cinรฉfilos bรกsicos''. Cuando realmente es interesante como la filosofรญa de los viajes en el tiempo se relacionan con esta peliย

I ACTUALLY WROTE AN ESSAY FOR CLASS ABOUT THIS MOVIE T-T i've heard its considered boring, not that i actually care, cuz i havent rewatched it yet. I really liked watch Momoko's style cuz omg i love the french rococo...

So this is basically about identity, friendship and aesthetics. Momoko, this lonely girl obsessed with the lolita style, ends up meeting with Ichigo, a biker with yankee style. They're opposites and thats why it works js because its not about similarity between them but just respect and filling each other's gap (i mean their personalities throughout the film which is important cuz you'll think im writing ts with AI). And also theres a lot of ''satire'' what i call STUPID JAPANESE HUMOR in this film...

yknow if u havent watched this yet DO IT and then read this becuz idunno how to explain ts i amย actually TRYING to translate what i wrote the first time i watched it

i didnt find a BETTER gif for Serpico but know if this blog says edited is because i changed it

yeah so DONT ask me the color of anything when 70s al pacino is on screen because when its him I DONT PLAY!! look... i know this is about frank serpico and his story with corruption but i only see al pacino playin a hippie and honest cop here... is one of my favourites because i would watch it again and again just for him

this one is an ALL TIME FAVOURITE because maybe im not that old but since i was 6 i knew this would be my favourite movie forever, it feels so personal okay... i think is a Tim Burton's classic so yeah i STRONGLY recommend this if u havent watched it !!ย ย ย ^_ย ^

look guys he is innocent... he is.. right?... right, right, right? -right -right -right

a stanley kubrick classic. i feel like this movie is SO important. Great story line and visuals, its just the way they portray women is vile... and nasty? but i swear its peak, even if u dont or didnt like it its like a movie you have to watch at least once in a lifetime.

yeah THE david bowie is in this.ย  this is such a lobotomy, or is just a magic surrealism kids movie but i LOVED IT the soundtrack is AMAZING and the puppet's work was perfect, i also watched the making of this and they put so much effort tbh.ย Jennifer Connelly was so young here and i think its one of her first films but she did so good :((.

ย In my language i'd say: vaya fumadotaย

i didnt find any cool gifs for this but omg SO underrated, martin scorsese's early films, robert de niro first film with scorsese and actually the beginning of their peak works together, robert is just being an mentaly unstable, unpredictable and gambler young boi... johnny civello THE goat. also harvey keitel did a great performance while playin a religious crazy ahh but at the same time being on this neighborhood THE little italy. This being based on scorsese's experience makes it awesooome and yeah i dunno i strongly recommend this omg

again this is personal, and also is a Scorsese's film, the way this happens just in 24hrs makes it so cool and i dont know if original because i havent watched something similar to this yet, i like that just a lot of things happen in a short time and shi !! i liked rosanna arquette's performance :33

''One shot.''

I cant explain this film at all cuz it left me LOST for words... I see this as a film of the PTSD this war left. So this is not just about the Vietnam war but the effects it caused on these ppl. I think this film has a really deep meaning you'll only understand if you watch it.

They way Robert De Niro ( and Cazale's wife that time, Meryl Streep) wanted to make this happen WITH John Cazale which he wouldnt get any support in films yet cuz of his illness because they knew he was slowly dying during the making of it, but they LITERALLY made this film happened is so ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿฅบโคโค

Also there's a lot of important actors here yeah theres Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, John Cazale and Meryl Streep. Christopher Walken did amazing here i love him so much. Young Christopher Walken is so yummmfjweafaewjrfuiefj

Challengers (2024) but from the 70s. I dont think im explaining this. there's THE Liza Minelli AAND Joel Grey (hes not the most important character but HE'S HERE) , this is a musical and I LOVED IT. OMG the soundtrack is sOOOOO PEAK literally my fav. I'm just sayin this movie is the life of a night club in 1931 BERLIN while outside theres some political weird shi happening (ifykyk).

This is like saying mulholland drive is your favourite, you didnt understand it but you loved it, i understood almost everything but the conection with Willie, some theories sound weird af but i just know willie has somethin to do with Millie like THERES SOMETHIN but thats just what i dont know. What I do know is THE vibe, their acting and the iconic clothing Shelly Duvall wore

I love when i watch something and dont understand it, so i can learn about it with the time and shi, also theres a part of the movie that just plays with surrealism so yknow i just like that ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’”
