I Accidentally Made Lost Media

Sorry for bad English, I’m not American or British

The other day, I was at a friends house, I’ll call him Gilbert for anonymous reasons. Anyway, Gilbert is a really great producer meaning he can make beats (mostly hip hop) and we’ve had a tradition where every time I’m at his place we make a song over a beat we make, it’s always a joke song so we’ve made classics like “Bird Flu” “Asslips” “Fuck Blackbeard” “Josh Turner” and more. These songs were mostly just horribly autotuned “rapping” over these horrible instrumentals with dumb lyrics. After visiting Gilbert a bunch of times after making it a tradition we compiled these songs together to create an album we called “Tha Grandmutha Tape Vol. 1” and we laughed about it for a bit. I then suggested we added it to the website AOTY (album of the year) where you submit albums and you can review them and stuff. Gilbert thought it was funny too and I made the page for the album, however to upload something onto this website you need proof it exists, so we just linked the Among Us Trap Remix instead because it was funny. It was uploaded and it was all shits and giggles until we realised this was technically lost media, so we went onto the r/lostmedia subreddit and made a post acting as if we’d found this album on Bandcamp one time but now couldn’t find it and could only access the AOTY page of it. After like 3 days users on the subreddit actually started trying to find this non existent album.

What have I done.
