How i romanticize the hardest months of the year ❄️

Hello there! You all know how january, february and march are literally the worst months of the whole year (except winter break obvi). I honestly hate them so much! They are cold, dark, full of school work, and pressure, no breaks, it feels heavy to do anything which is not a must. Last year this time was probably the worst time of my life, so this year i was reallyy scared for these months to come. I didn"t want to go through this thing again, where i could"t put make-up on because of crying so much.

But lately i realized something, i can make them entirely different, better. Just because winter was hard to me before does not mean that this will happen again. So instead of being worring, and being scared of it, i decided to romanticize it make it feel special and aesthetic.

And if you are anything like me, obsessed with early 2000s and 2010s aesthetics, winter is actually one of the best times to create this vibe! After autumn obvi, i don"t have to explain it.

Just imagine coming home from school while it"s snowing. You are tired obvi, but instead of feeling miserable, you study a bit, wearing  cute outfit in a cozy space while drinking your favourite drink, then you do a light workout, take a warm, bubbly bath using vanilla scented products, put on cozy pyjamas and fairy lights in your room. Then you make yourself your favourite dinner and chill. You can read a book, turn music on, or just watch tv. Suddenly this does not sound awful, but kind of nice, and aesthetic.

For me romanticizing winter is about finding comfort in small things throughout the day, and upgrading everything as much as possible, like just think you can wear your old dirty hoodie or a cute outfit which will make you feel special. Also not using your phone so much is very important! These months are still hard, but creating a nice routine, and moments to look forward to make them feel much better.

If winter is difficult for you too, please leave your tips in comments. See you in the next post.

xx
