im currently inking a graphic novel, but most of the time, ill be inking and want to re-do something, but then realize that its already set in the story, and cartooning ONE page alone take s me hours! so, to prevent that, ill be written g these before I finish the chapters, and them maybe.... I might drop the pages.... if I get over my fear of them getting stolen! oh yeah, forgot to mention...

omg... I can't believe that my new artstyle actually made fern HOT....sigh I learned male anatomy but at what cost :(. looking back at this art of him. he looks so in character. I think I should start drawing him like this again, he looks so squishable! god, I miss my shayla... is this what it's like to be a parent???

so the lore.... so this novel is either going to be titled "laboratory academy" or "bio academy". it follows a Canadian waist/ white idk I haven't decided yet, theatre girl named Cassie who gets harassed by her classmates both verbally and sexually at school, and abused by her drunkyard dad at home, this leads her to become some sort of insane bombshell who hates every male organism on the planet because they caused all her problems over the years. at 14, she eventually tries one of her moms cigars, and a few years later, her mom dies of cancer due to them not being able to afford the conveniently already invented cure due to WHO??? Cassies father! this drives that pasty skinned ginger drunkyard mad and makes him abuse Cassie even more to the point of PTSD and unhealthy eating patterns making her slim as bone.
our antagonist is a 32 year old Irish scientist named Vivienne who found the cure to cancer while neglecting her daughter, and is famous as this biology academy's headmistress. she advertised this school as something to prepare students for medical school, and universities bought it... but in reality, behind all of the posh TV interviews? she's a shallow bitch who uses this school to either experiment on the students and give them animalistic like features or just kills them off and uses their dna for another subject or eats it. due to those canibalistic tendencies, she hasn't made a public appearance since like idk year XYZ I haven't come up with it yet. Cassie is the main character who was shipment at 17 after her alcoholic dad had enough of her "not being ladylike", and Izzi got sent due to her orphanage shutting down and no one wanting to adopt her due to how old she is compared to the other children and teenagers. the two eventually pair up with a boy who got his ties cut off of his mother after her caching cancer and the doctor cutting everyones ties from her due to Vivienne not sharing the cure anymore and being boycotted due to myyyysterious disaperances at the school aaaaaaaaah oooooh wow so scary brrrrrr BUT WAIT we haven't reached the good part yet im a littitrary genius so keep reading twin :)

canonical timing of event: Sep 4- 2015, after the horrific experience of Cassie getting her body changed, and her Yellow-bellied sheathtail bat dna injected in.
so, after moving into her dorm (much more comfortable then the basement), and deciding weather the fall of spring uniform looked cuter, we meet fern, a guy in her science class, who accidentally pours acid on her ears 9cause to why her ears are taped up... permanently). due to Cassies hate towards men due to the creeps at her school, and especially her dad, she yells in Ferns face during lunch and calls him a brick headed- perverted- man child
. fern gets offended, but eventually realizes that she's a new student, and since hes in a voluntary group for "school pupil tours" he had to tour her around. they hated each other r at first, but eventually wind up as friends, and Fern gets introduced to izzi, Cassies best friend since childhood. which leads them to get introduced to Ferns friends: some British washout ex-competitive figure skater disowned by her rich-rich parents for "not being housewife-material" girl covered in cat fur all over with claws and ears and a tail and a cat nose named Claudine (wow what a original name for a catgirl but eh), the Irish school beauty covered in scales by the limbs except for her torso and face (well... her freckles were replaced with scales) named Ivory who is ferns crush (but not for looooong hehe) AND: the scientists disowned daughter (due to neglect because of focus on her experiments), and a Lizard guy who I can't come up with a name for because his sole purpose is to look attractive and be ferns best friend who dies 1 millisecond later named.... idk I dont care for the guy come up with a name for me please. Ivory has dreams of escaping, but no one wants to listen because most people who try to escape get killed off. besides, THEY CANT EVEN FIND THEIR LOCATION ON GOOGLE MAPS! but... does ivory listen? NOPE. she runs out of the school gates, and while running to get to the bus stop surrounded by tress in the middle of the forest, she gets spotted, resulting in her mother violently stabbing her, over and over in the guts and eating her daughter whole.
Ivory, the school's bombshell, the cute blondie pianist baker girl? MISSING. the school freaks and the headmistress assures the school everything is fine, but Claudine gets proven wrong after going on her routinely walk outside the school grounds, and sees ivory's corpse, flesh and all, decaying there, with obvious signs of stab marks and even scooped out body parts. seeing her friends flesh inside and out like faux fur covered in organs and blood, Claudine relapses all over the corpse and runs away
pupils see the distress in her eyes, and then suddenly see her covered in blood. Clawdine gets reported, and after getting put in jail, the police go investigating to see if she really killed the body. They find clawdines running shoes and bag left behind, and they see Ivory's disgusting, shrivelled up corpse covered in vomit, then realize that the stab marks on her stomach, clawed on and opened, were, although expected form a cat-humanoid, were clearly weeks old. how could that be her when the even happened today? she gets bailed out, and the cops keep investigating Vivienne is distressed, realizing this could ruin her fame and money forever, panics and kicks the cops out with a money bribery.
after bailing Claudine out of jail, Fern, Izzi, and Cassie realize what they were dealing with was a lot bigger than them, and much, much, darker, a scheme making itself as a prestigious school using students as test subjects, tearing them apart to the core, sucking all the "human" out of them for "science". as if that was a excuse for all this crime! they finally connected the dots! it was all brainwash! its was clear all along; every student dissaperance was connected to some sort of escape. not to mention, where did all the graduates go? sure, they saved their features like their organs and human dna until graduation, but what about people like Claudine? and Fern? would they just take a look at Fern's cyborg exterior and willingly undo everything? with that much effort? the guy had a extendable neck! bolts in his ears! metallic skin spray painted white! scanner eyes! BLUE HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!they'd obviously kill him off then let him graduate and have the world see what they really did to kids in there!
and they were all seniors. he could die at any moment!
there was only one solution: follow ivory's tracks. she was the scientists daughter! the one behind all this! daughters know their mothers like the back of their hand. she had to know something about her mothers scheme that drove her mad. there had to be!
