So I made this account sometime in late 2024 (I believe) and I befriended a few people. One of these people started messaging me and soon we were having full on conversations. We seemed to have a lot in common, liking the same franchises and such. But one day they just disappeared...
I'm not really sure what happened to them or why they just suddenly went away but I'm just curious now, is this a normal thing on here? I don't feel like I said anything wrong, the last message I remember sending them was that I was going to the orthodontist, so that when I didn't respond back, they would know why. When I came back to look for our conversation later on, it was gone. I unfortunately, don't remember the person's username so I'm sure it's a lost cause but I just wanted to make this post anyways to see if anyone can relate to this.

that’s sadly a normal thing because people tend to forget to reply then forget about the site
i doubt you did anything wrong at all and they just got busy and forgot
like a few hours i’ll be on this site the 5 hours later i’ll forget it exists since you can’t do much
im sure you’ll find them someday but
tldr
it’s a normal thing, site is forgettable
Ah ok I figured as much but thank you for the reply! I understand forgetting about the site as I often do as well.
