03.10.25 - Pierce the Veil

I arrived in Munich with my friends on the 2nd of October and we already were able to visit part of it, like the centre of the city.
On the 3rd of October, we woke up early and left the hotel. In the morning we visited some places we had planned beforehand, while in the early afternoon we went to the Olympiapark to spend time with the beautiful ducks and fish that live there.
When we left, we headed straight for the concert venue. We were there around two hours before the concert, I was able to buy merch right away (I got a shirt and a keychain and they were kind of expensive…) and we spent the time waiting for the gates to open while talking to each other and joking. After around an hour / hour and a half, we were inside, and we got some water to hydrate before the concert. We weren't super close to the stage but we picked a good spot where we could see the performers pretty clearly.
The openers were pretty cool, I remember I took some vids of them and also danced / jumped a bit at the songs I knew and I was pretty excited. But when Pierce the Veil started, the whole atmosphere changed and everyone was super excited!!
I took very few vids because my phone camera wasn't the best quality, and also I was too busy singing and dancing to actually remember to film my favorite songs!!!
The highlights of the evening were:
- I got pulled into the mosh pit that formed right in front of me and my friends during Pass the Nirvana and I was filming in the meantime so my phone almost fell (thankfully I had a bracelet attached to it…)
- I almost lost my mind when they played "I'd rather die than be famous" because I didn't want to check the setlist before the concert so everything was a surprise to me, and it is one of my favorite songs
- There was a front row proposal during "Wonderless" and Vic shouted: "She said yes!!" Which was fucking hilarious to me
- There was another proposal but I don't remember which song, and both couples got shown on the big screen during "Hold on 'till May"
- Also yeah I cried during that song
- At some point I saw Vic between the heads of people in front of me and light was shining on him and I thought it was like some kind of angelic sight
- I was very paranoid that the concert would end early so I kept asking my friend if every song was the last one very anxiously bc I wanted to hear Hell Above and they hadn't sang it yet
- The biggest mosh pit formed during King for a Day and it was cooler to watch than the stage LOL

People were wearing such creative and cool outfits, it was so beautiful to watch (Meanwhile I had my PTV shirt and long black jeans lol)
At the end of the concert my feet hurt like hell and I barely had a voice anymore but it was so worth it!! Best concert I've been to so far and I would relive it again 1000 times if I could.
