(Note: I have 4 older siblings and I`m gonna call them B, K, C, and V :D)

OKAY... I know today is january 3 so I`m technically a day late to write this but a lot happened so plz pardon that!! XD today was fun and healing honestly. Soooooo basically I stayed up all night and decided to use a depilatory cream on my face. Long story short... RLLY BAD idea (x_x) Even as I write this the application area is still numb. (・_・) According to google I`m experiencing some chemical irritation coz my skin is sensitive. Until february I`m gonna stick to a very minimal and healing-focused skincare routine. Oh and to make matters worse, I tried squeezing this one pesky clogged pore and it ended up leaving a red mark so now I look like a lunatic (Odd eye circle reference?) -_-''

I fell asleep a little after that and had a dream I was in a friend group where wishing someone a merry christmas was unheard of and deemed "strange". I did it by accident so I walked away from the group somewhere and then I heard a voice call my name and I woke up. It was mom telling me my siblings were coming soon and reminded me to wear my secret santa shirt. I got dressed, went downstairs and tried one of mom`s "chocolate-chocolate" cookies. It was good but looked rlly burnt (>_<) But then again you never know until you try so yeah :D

To pass the time we watched a show about people who live in obscure, far-flung abodes. One of the segments featured a couple in scandinavia who live in a tiny wedge-shaped house surrounded by snow that requires a helicopter for transportation and the bathroom is in a separate building outside of the house!! How bizzare... (O_O) anyway my siblings came and they were really happy to see me. B was confused because he thought I was taller than him which made me kinda sad coz I thought perhaps I wasn`t 5`10 like I`ve been claiming to be :,) We were all wearing jackets since our secret santa shirts were still a surprise and then we stepped outside to do our reveals. K guessed it was me on the second or third try (she was my secret santa) and when it was my turn, I first guessed C, then K, and then finally mom (I was her secret santa). I don`t really remember the rest tbh. We ate burgers & hot dogs that dad made outside and talked about movies we like/dislike before going back inside to watch deck the halls. It was actually hilarious especially the part where the lights on the house go out and the reporter is visibly disappointed by it LOLLL. Then we watched a short film K was featured in coz she`s lowk an actress!! (^.^) I can`t give a recap though coz she said so :v we also watched the first half of wicked and it was actually better than I expected. I had been putting off watching it for all this time because I just assumed it was gonna be confusing and not make sense to me since I`ve never seen the broadway version.

For dinner mom made this DELICIOUS creamy tuscan chicken & rice like omg I`m still thinking about it :) yummm ♪ Then two of my relatives came and we sat outside by the fire pit dad set up the other day and we mostly just talked about traveling. Apparently my two relatives are going to rottnest island (had to search that up) for a birthday celebration in april so they can see and take pics with quokkas! ^_^ K also talked about her trip to nova scotia and apparently lobster rolls are really good but I`ll have to see for myself. I`ve never been a big lobster person though.

Once we had enough of that we went back inside and opened some gifts. I got a clear, cube-shaped light that is rechargable and can be used in any space and a clear container for me to put trinkets in for storage purposes. Then my siblings left with dad to go to their hotel for the night. I went upstairs and did some research on my little... skintuation. I`m not sure if I have a damaged skin barrier thanks to that stupid depilatory cream but all I know is I should not be using any harsh products or anything with active ingredients like AHA and BHA. Maybe it`s a sign I need to slow down and take more caution when it comes to decision-making coz I can be really impulsive sometimes <3
