Trapped in a box

Does anybody remember when art/content of characters trapped in small spaces was just a Thing. Like specifically it would be ships trapped in boxes or closets for no reason? I feel like I used to see that all the time and that was the Shit. Does anybody else remember 

(Also an unrelated subgenre was like art of cute little enclosures to put characters in, like glass jars and things. Not like in a nasty way but in a Meyoco art way yk?)
