Pop Goes Punk???? (First Blog Postttt!!)

Recently I've discovered the Pop Goes Punk albums by Fearless Records. They take a bunch of singers and bands who make alternative music and have them make covers of pop songs. It's really cool tbhhhh. They also get a lot of good bands like PTV and Falling in Reverse. Is this a known thing that I'm just disovering??? Why did no one tell me about this its amazing.
