Stranger things

Stranger things is so amazing, but after learning all the ships, im starting to question stuff, yes i know byler is the biggest ship but i dont really see it, like yes they are close but werent really after the byers moved away, i can see like el and mike because they were actually dating- yes i know all fandoms have ships that dint relaly exist, but when i see mile and will together i dont see a connection, and even will mike and el i can see the tiniest spark, also the jonathan and nancy ship? That seemed perfect but others dont really agree and people still say steve harrington, or some people say steve and eddie which i dont see makes sense, so im confused TwT so can anyone give me ideas or reasons why these ships are valid?
