mermaids

i wholeheartedly believe that i was a mermaid in a past life. i just want to start this off by saying. i i truly believe there is a multiverse. We we are all a part of something bigger. we have had multiple forms,lives,stories that are to be uncovered. and my story, that i was a mermaid. i have bright vivid dreams of swimming through the sea with a bright glistening tail. Those dreams feel more like uncovered memories lost to time.i can never shake off the feeling that i quite don't belong on land, , rather I belong underwater. to be swimming in the depths of the seas. i feel extremely confident in the water, as if i can do anything. I have this never-ending thirst no matter how much water i consume. ironically i have a hard time to drink water. the language of the ocean has always called out to my soul. iv always had this eternal aching that i do not belong on the surface. i have always found it really hard to exist and fit in into the world among people for as long as i can remember. when im in the water i feel like i can do anything. all of my awkwardness melts away like seafoam. i know in this lifetime i may be a human. i dont doubt that. but i believe in a another life i was a mermaid.
