I love horror but im such a scaredy cat especially when im alone I get Hella scared easily and I stop wanting to watch it and switch to a comedy or comfort to distracted myself so is that just me or anyone else?

It's the overthinking that does it, the more you think about it the more you notice stuff, like noises. The smallest noise will set you off and convince you someone is around lol. The more you watch scary stuff alone the more you get use too it. I get paranoid when hearing noises while watching stuff that are meant to be scary. I just usually remind myself it's just in my head. Like when thinking about spiders and suddenly can feel webs all over you when there isn't any.

it helps me a lot when I stay in a moderately lit environment (heck lot of lights turned on behind). but if it's a horror game, I just watch my comfort youtubers play it lmaoo
