Hesitated to put this in the "School" category, as it is part of a study programme within my university. But I'm super excited to be leaving, I'm a 20 year old student from Canada and this will be the first travel I do completely on my own.
It has been a dream of mine for a while, I've been learning Swedish for a year and Norwegian for a year before that. Of course, I'll be arriving with next to no money lol but it's okay. Money's no issue when you're exploring the world lol. But yeah, super happy to get to live in one of my favourite countries for 5 months and I hope the swedes are gonna be nice

Low budget ≠ low quality trip :) I think going abroad was definitely one hell of an experience for me also, so I hope you have fun too!! tell us how it goes !

i never traveled abroad until i met my husband online and went to the UK to meet him irl. leaving for a new country is so exciting and cool, it really makes you realize how big the world is! i def wanna travel more in the future

ive definetly been to many countries before, but it was with my family and only for a few days, sometimes week at a time. thank you for the warm wishes and I can't wait to be abroad!
