I hate hosting during the Holidays

Okay, so it's currently New Year's Eve, right? And my parents volunteered to have it at our place AGAIN. I wish for a year we could go to someone else's house. Even weeks before the 31st, my mom is cleaning every inch of our house, and she still is day of. It's just so stressful making sure everything is perfect for the guests. Trust me mom, I can assure you they do not care that much.

And not only that, once they start arriving, I have to have my room locked up for the night!? Only our family is coming so I don't see what the need is for that. I don't believe my tias or my cousins would go to our rooms to steal something?? So, if I forget anything in my room like my phone it's stuck there until everyone leaves. I did have the misfortune of forgetting it one time and the last guest had the nerve to leave at two in the morning. Like c'mon we ALSO host the MORNING OF New Year's Day. They could've came back then.

Anyway, I hear the first person coming out their car sooo I got to go!!
