I promised myself I would never do a "looking back" post again at the end of the year, because I believe that the things that happen in our lives don't just happen over a year and life is a continuous cycle. But it feels right now that I have a little space to pour these feelings into.
I'm sorry to have to mention my job yet another time, but I've come to realize that I love working as a conductor, even when I hate it. I love doing what I do and I love talking about it so you'll have to deal with more trainposting in 2026 >:3
This past year I feel like it's been a big test for me, I finally took the big leap and left my family and my hometown to go live alone: it's not been the best of leaps, but I'm still working on the landing. I remember just some months ago I was very uncertain about my future here, but now I'm more optimistic. I feel like I'm finally taking control over my life little by little, so my first objective for 2026 will be to find balance in my life so I can start taking back my time.
Lastly, I want to thank (again) everyone I have interacted with on SpaceHey. It started as a little experiment for me and now it's become the one place on the internet that feels like a shelter from my day-to-day life. I love chatting, I love updating my profile with new stuff, I love writing and reading blogs, I love checking out you guys' profiles. Thank you for making my stay here better.
All that's left to say now is HAPPY NEW YEAR! Here's to hoping y'all have a wonderful 2026 <3
