Male gaze in female representation

Wonder Woman, demigod, princess warrior, and always looks like she's wearing a swimsuit. modesty is inequivalent to feminism, but let's remember she was made by a man. Male superheroes come in all sizes and forms from antman to the hulk, while we get the same mold of big boobs and abs. yes, superheroes should be in shape, no that does not mean an unrealistic costume design thats more sexy than useful. diversity is important when it comes to us as well. i'm not saying being half naked lessens her power, some might say its a true act of feminism for a woman to fight crime in her own choice of revealing clothes, i agree but only to a certain extent. the thing is that diverse female representation will 100% result in a lot of backlash; they definitely won't be as popular. i'm sure of this because all of us (including myself) have this image of the perfect female and project it onto our favorite characters, and this alll goes back to internal/subconscious masculism, you cant control it, but you can try changing your perspective. diversity doesnt just mean bodies with more fat, it just means different shapes, whether its a bigger waist, smaller boobs, or just a diversely proportioned body. fit/muscular ≠ hourglass/curvy.
