new year’s wishes

hai everyone!!!

I sincerely wish you a happy, prosperous and exciting new year~!

I hope I’ll be able to focus on school more. I’m also looking forward to educating myself more on anarchism, communism and ways of helping out in my communities. It’s been approximately a year since I decided to go vegan, and I don’t plan on stopping :) I’m so glad I’ve had the resources and time to grow into the person I am today. I hope you guys feel the same way about your progress too.

even though I’m extremely scared of aging, I can’t wait to see what this year will bring me. staying hopeful is the only way i have of coping right now haha

anyway, i’d like to remind everyone that we’re extremely privileged to be celebrating right now. sadly there’s many genocides ongoing, as well as other persecution of people of color and queer people across the globe. it’s important to be mindful of that, and we should strive to be charitable. not everyone has the financial means of help, but even an hour spent helping at a soup kitchen is an hour of love.
