Woe, oh sweet woe!
Deep down in the pit of my belly is where the beast I know as sadness lives.
Oh and how he wails, his cries reverberate and echo off the walls of my intestines, bones, and blood and out pours from my mouth his song. And yet no one else can hear him.
Oh woe, my sweet, sweet woe!
How unabashed you are, like an unerring cacophony of despair you put out my fire. And yet even so, woe. My sweet, sweet woe. I continue on regardless of your unfettered presence, and I extend my hand to you. For you are my friend, you are my tool, you take away my joy and in its place I can find value in things once again.
Woe, oh sweet woe.
