spacehey being deserted

this site may not be as deserted as others think, although for many users spacehey is used for about two weeks, then uninstalled or just left on our phones.

instagram or tiktok are often used for posting and browsing, however i miss the times where i could easily make friends and just talk to people for hours on end. now social media is a competition for visuals and followers and the authenticity is lost.

this summer i’d discovered spacehey from some of my closer friends when they’d promoted it on instagram, i stayed up for so long trying to make a basic profile just because i didnt have a desktop next to me. i talked to my instagram mutuals on here and it’d been fun: meeting others and finding out about the most random interests of theirs. however nowww.. all my irl friends or insta mutuals haven’t been online in months and it seems like spacehey had been a two week phase, not sure if it’ll ever be as big as myspace had been.
