Death Collection - A Sampling

Pictured here is a bit of my collection.  These are all collected by me from the field (not hunted, just simply found in forests, fields, wherever), or results from trades with likeminded vultures. Ultimately, the hardest part is cleaning off the flesh.

Included: Raccoons, lynx, coyotes, river otters, beaver, porcupine, groundhog, opossum, white-tailed deer, red fox, black bear, squirrels, domestic cats, star-nosed moles, mink, snapping turtle, numerous birds (my favourite being the raven skull), several insects, wet specimens, and many many more items.

Yellow-blob in the one picture is to hide a TOS violation.

DUUUDE YOUR HOUSE LOOKS LIKE IT COULD BE IN A STOP MOTION MOVIE!
It would probably belong to some cooky scientist guy named Cedric or something. Where did you get that drawer(?) in the last image from? Did you make it yourself?

i also saw peste noire haha i fangirled irl rare to find fans in general. sent koltin your post as i thought he would appreciate it XD i was confused like why is it such a small album for a moment like wait a minute.. but knowing it's a patch that's amazing. i don't know where to buy the merch online? especially in the US oh well still neat.

love all the animal skulls btw i don't know much about taxidermy myself but the fact you been collecting since you were 12 i can see why you have so many. and they seem to be in such good shape :) fits the gothic atmosphere so well. i would start collecting myself just can't find them around here sadly have to be in a more woods area even then people find them faster than me heh.

you should make a book blog sometime suggesting all of your favorite books or even albums? i'd love to hear. saying as i saw atrax morgue on your page so awesome cheers.

Haha, we exist! It's pretty bad, but I actually forget where I got that patch. It might have been from Starside Relics? Not sure where you could find merch in the US either, I mostly deal with Europeans for the really good stuff.

Finding bones, here's a tip --- ditches in spring. I don't know how urbanized your area is, but ditches are a sure-fire way to find bones. The casualties of vehicles. In early spring, they're easy to find since all of the vegetation is either still dead. You live in the midwest, so you know how it is.

Yeah, I should at some point. I find it difficult to pick favourites, because ultimately it changes over time. There's definite "stand outs" though. Happy to see an Atrax Morgue fan as well, speaking of rare. Marco Corbelli fascinates me.
