ive noticed that people just dont care about others in dating anymore, everyone sees everyone as an object and its horrible, ive seen people around me treat people horribly and like theyre nothing for seemingly no reason while dating, and they dont feel bad at all, and not to sound old but i think its social media, people have infinite choices for dating and can message/see anyone at anytime, and this is making people not care about others, because they have so many choices, they can move on to someone new in seconds, along with everyone gaining an ego because a lot of people add or message them on social media, idk if i worded this wellÂ
TLDR: Social media makes people see others as objects and inflates egosÂ

I think its been bad for a while but I heard it has gotten worse. I heard that most of the time people are treated even in friendship as transactional. That the hussle culture now lead people to be always thinking what they can get from each action and is this a ROI and such things.
I like to think that small places like this helps, and I feel more relaxed on here as I get to read things like someones whos gardens as a hobby and someone who jsut wants to chat about things. I do hope that it changes and people become genuine instead of fake and scammy
