“Post-Tipper” Glitch Hop Renaissance

It seems like ever since Dave Tipper played his final performance this past September, there’s been a surge of new music coming out from artists within his sphere of influence, and it’s been glorious. We got Mr. Bill’s supporting Red Rocks set turned into this incredible album (one of my favorites of 2025), we got these absolute heaters from J.LANG earlier this month, some wonky new chunes from Eastwood Red (who really impressed me with his Yoshi’s Island flip at Snowta, which can be found here), some heavyyyyyy WIPs from Duffrey (I wanna say he played some during his Halloween set in Pontiac this year), and a beautiful new album from Cualli, as well as his Red Rocks set.

  It’s a good time to be a fan of weird farty sounding bass music.
