Okay, this might have come out as a little harsh but I truely belive that the internet is awful and shouldn't even exist. The internet has also done a lot of amazing things and helping outcasts find people who have similar interests as them, but honestly there are much more cons than pros. As someone who grew up with unsupervised internet acess as a kid it has truley messed up my brain A LOT. Not to mention how much easier it is for crimes to happen online (stalking, cp, scaming etc) and humanity is doomed. Not to mention how much misinformation and propaganda there is online which is just pushing humanity further away from each other as more people are starting to agree with Homophobia/transphobia, racism, sexism! I've seen so many people (Especially on tiktok) proudly saying they are N4zis, like what the hell.
Well this is depressing hope yall are having a good day otherwise !! This is just a lil rant

i agree but saying "it shouldn't exist" is a bit exaggerating,some people have really awfull lifes and use the internet as a escape from reality,and it helped many to find jobs online or study online,plus you wrote this and posted this on the internet so without the internet you wouldn't be posting this it dosen't make ence lol.
Well It shouldn't have existed to begin with that's what I meant. But yes ofc I agree the internet has helped a lot but I also think that the internet is tributing to making society worse. I've noticed a high number of younger males becoming far right winged (especially in my country) and I think it largely has to do with what they see online. Saying the internet is all bad and shouldn't be used would be very hypocrite of me xd

As someone who grew uo with no restrictions, I completely agree. The internet has made a space where predators can get to children easily and who knows what they can convince a kid that doesn't know better to do. Kinda like to momo situation in 2018-19.
Yes exactly!! I'm very worried about the future of young people on the internet and how easily it is for creeps to share inappropriate media of children and that child wont be able to do anything because that will forever be on the internet. I myself wouldn't say I've been gr00med but i've def encountered many creeps online. I also see many mentally ill young people idolizing criminals (Like alyssa bustamante for example) and murdering people irl. Also seen different incidents of suicide because they want to be famous or doing trends (bluewhale challange).
