i feel like my playlist is far too much rap. there is nothing wrong with rap music, as it is a beautiful genre with such diverse styles like boombap to sstepteam, but after a while, hearing the same song over and over gets quite old. i would love if some of you guys could comment some artists you like. any style is acceptable, i am very open minded when it comes to music.

i don't know what you think of baroque rock and punk rock. silverchair's album 'diorama' is already a fairly diverse album itself! for that i'd recommend,
my favourite thing/tuna in the brine (more orchestral stuff)
the lever/one way mule (stoner rock)
the greatest view/without you (borderline grunge/stoner rock)
then there's green day. i'm not gonna give you dookie or nimrod or kerplunk, and while there's nothing wrong with it, their later albums are especially cool...
¡dos! - a bit more like 60's garage rock. try out 'stop when the red lights flash', 'stray heart', and 'lazy bones'.
revolution radio - more pop punk. not into that term but it fits better. try out 'bang bang', 'revolution radio', and 'youngblood'.
21 century breakdown - a bit of variety between punk and something like baroque rock? try out 'the last night on earth', '¿viva la gloria? (little girl)', and 'east jesus nowhere'.

janet jackson - empty (one of my favorite songs ever!)
rosalia - lux (she just released this album and it is honestly very good, its a combo of classical and pop and she pulls it off really well imo! i specifically really like the songs berghain, mio cristo piange diamenti, and reliquia)
psychic fever - just like that (very rnb boy group coded)
ravyn lenae - from scratch
day6 (korean band) - honestly all of their songs! but i would start with the albums "sunrise" and "moonrise" as well as their album "Unlock" (this album is in japanese)

I'm taking this as an opportunity to recommend my favorite artist but she also sometimes raps lol, her music is kinda all over the place but she has such a great writing style
Claire Brooks!! Mortal hide is her new song she's promoting lately, but santal 33 is my personal favorite. She also has a really good live version of her song bleach on her YouTube channel.
