Please stop normalizing weak female characters!

Hey everyone!

Today I'm going to talk about the “dumb female characters who need help and can't do anything on their own” that we see in movies, TV shows, anime, and books. Well... this is my first blog post, haha.

Getting to the point, I'm sick of seeing these kinds of female characters. What's interesting about watching/reading about a female character who is dependent on a male character and can't do anything? This situation bothers me immensely. I want to jump into the TV and yell, “Come on, just do it already!” and shake her by the shoulders.

Okay, sometimes this can be good. Because, for example, the girl is tired, and the male character helps her, and we see his chivalry, but it's not always like that, man. It's really annoying!

It's also really bad, especially in anime, how these female characters are drawn in a sexualized way. I WANT TO WATCH ANIME, NOT LOOK AT SOME PART OF THE WOMAN'S BODY!
