I experienced something weird yesterday at night

so i was in bed, trying to  fall asleep right? and i heard some muffled speaking/voice coming from the roof(my room is at the second floor of my house so right under the roof), and i hear some footsteps(or something just moving on the roof) and muffled voice again. i dont think it was any of my neighbours, familly members or any animals. I live in Eastern-Southern Poland. any idea to what it was?
