More book recs cause its been a year :b

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams -

I cannot think of an easier book to read, it's number 1 of 5 but this is the only one you really NEED to read (the rest are great dont get me wrong). Its so funny and introspective and iconic and just easy to get through, so good. Space wackiness and stuff, pleease read this book if you can

A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving - 

Omg this book is so good, it's quite long but it means you really get to sit with the characters and they end up being really meaning a lot to the reader, I love owen more than anything, its about a small religious fellow called owen meany from the perspective of his friend as they grow up together and it's just so good

The Nickel Boys by Colson Whitehead - 

This book is a gut punch, it's so sad, it's about a black kid named Elwood during segregation in america who gets wrongly sent to a juvie/school thing and its about everything that happens there, theres also a big twist at the end 

Slaughterhouse 5 by Kurt Vonnegut - 

This might be my favourite book of all time, it's so interesting, its about a man who experiences time all out of order, jumping from his time in the war to his life as a pharmacist to him being in an alien zoo for a year, it's just such a special book and is really well written and so beautiful

1984 by George Orwell - 

It's a classic for a reason guys, it's such a great and grim book and so relevant, and makes such good points about humanity, the only note i would give to readers of it is to treat it in a way like a satire, like don't treat it SO seriously or you'll make a bit of an ass out of yourself
