all i can remember of this game was that it used to be popular in the late 2010s, it was the type of game that kinda went popular and a bunch of youtubers scrambled to make letsplays of it, it kinda had the grafics of games like kindergarten.
the main plot of the game was a young girl mayble around 8 or 9 that had lost her parents in some typa accident, maybe a sickness they got or something, and she made it her goal to hide this fact for some reason, now she had to like survive everyday by getting food for herself and some kind of mutant monster thing in her basement
i js remember that i fell in love w this game for like a solid couple months but couldnt play it, now that i can i cant remember...

Akemi-tan, maybe? I don’t remember it very well. If not, it might’ve been Mogeko Castle or The Witch’s House. I hope it’s one of those lol. I got curious and started looking into games from 2004 to 2013
finaly found it, after looking at it i rly didint remember some of the info right but the game is "its not me its my basement"

IDK if youre still looking for it but my best guess is a game called Mad father, its the first thing that came to mind
Also other than that, other REALLY popular games with similar starts would be The last of us and The walking dead games. But since those are so popular you prolly have checked them out

Is it a point&click adventure? Maybe Fran Bow? That´s the only game I can think of right now. Her parents disappeared and there was a monster always following her lead. It´s dark and a bit creepy.
i just checked it out and sadly no, still looks like a super cool game but ik its not the one im looking for
