bring baek fun tech

the day we stopped having diverse and unique tech designs was the day technology genuinely died, especially with the release of phones with no buttons and a plain flat screen. because i yearn for the time technology used to have different purposes and there was a certain device for each activity and how phones didn't have everything and anything all in one. we could take photos, have online platforms, and games, but we still had things like digicams and consoles which were so cool to me because you had to buy multiple devices to do certain things. which kind of gave technology and traditional devices a great sense of balance if that make sense. another thing was the fact technology wasn't as accessible to younger children or something they needed which is a contrast to todays generation because half the generation has ipads and are extremely dependent to screens all day just to entertain themselves all because it was more convenient for parents which definitely isn't for the children's development. (ngl i think they should give their children game consoles instead, so their fingers are actually moving 😓✌️) not mention the diversity with flip phones gave a sense of individuality and personalization based of the person's subculture or aesthetic which gives them a sense of expression which we definitely lack today. bcz fym we all have general homogenous phone styles unless we buy a pricier slightly unique one. and that saddens me because that says a lot about society from how we went from peak self expression to whatever we are now.
