There's a subgenre of music I like but don't know what the best classification is. I'm gonna throw a bunch of words at you and see if you get the idea;
- Nightcore songs
- S3rl
- "I know this pretty rave girl"
- Caramelldansen
- Around The World (La La La)
- Dragostea Din Tei (Numa Numa Yay)
- Häschenparty
- Basshunter
- Dota
- Cascada
- Parry Gripp
- Vocaloid/Miku
- Rock that Body
These songs are often shown in scene edits on TikTok and Instagram Reels. Therefore, I thought it was "scene" music. So I went looking for scene music. Turns out 'scene' is more so this weird specific metal screamo EDM crabcore/crunkcore amalgamation from the late 2000's. Things like BOTDF, Attack Attack, Brokencyde, etc.
So then I thought maybe it's "scenecore". Not that either. Scenecore apparently refers to 2020s-era hyperpop. I do like some hyperpop, and I do like some actual real scene music. However, those titles don't really describe this subgenre I'm trying to label.
I thought of it as "2000's[/2010's] EDM" but when I look for that kind of music, I find Brittney Spears, Usher, Lil Jon, and others that I think of more as pop. It's not like mainstream EDM.
I've best heard it be described as "Eurodance", though a lot of that stuff isn't European? It's like alt-rave scene-ish Eurodance-adjacent EDM? Maybe??

Honestly, I can't provide a solid answer. Most of what you just listed just seems like old-school Internet music to me. Does it all have a genre name, ehhhh ob'm know.
I think its just that short-form video websites are filled with normies that don't know what words mean, and just assume what things mean based on what they see, rather than research it.
Sorry I couldn't provide an answer, but it is good music, I will give you that.

I hear the term Hi-NRG used a lot in the club scene to describe it. Maybe that will help you find similar stuff!
