honestly hair and clothes. Your hair doesn't have to be a full-blown tease out emo cut, it can be something simple, just a side part deep enough would suffice. And for clothes, its all about layering, it might be hard at first if you dont have anything "emo" in your wardrobe but really just a cool tee, the more colorful the more "scene", some skinny jeans or bootcut if you dont like skinny jeans, bracelets, converse or toms (there are some pretty cheap ones imo) and that's about it, its all about confidence and having fun in expressing yourself!

Its literally ALL about the hair. Regardless of what I did, no one really considered me emo but the SECOND I got a side part the floodgates opened.
Im fricking awful at giving tutorials so you‘d probably be better off looking for scenemo hair tutorials on youtube or tiktok (unless a scene king/queen just randomly spawns into the comment section).
So the only real tip I have is to focus on ur hair, even if that may seem underwhelming. Also do a shitton of hair flips. (cool BMWY pfp btw :D)
