New Year New Me!

I'm fairly pessimistic that 2022 will be better than 2021 (and possibly no better than 2020). I've gone so far as to refer to it as 2020: Two, as well as other variations on that meme (such as 2021: Part 2, and 2020: The ReTwo; I didn't say they were good names).

At this point, I'm just looking to survive 2022 and hope that it brings about a return of the Before Times. We're starting the third year of the pandemic and, while Omicron seems to be a bit of a respite given that most scientists say it's less deadly than Delta and OG COVID, I'd rather we not get complacent so that another (more deadly) version pops-up in a few months. As Slurms McKenzie once said, "I'm tired. So very tired" (although he was tired of partying, lol).

Been digging into more retro content, so I may incorporate new themes into my SpaceHey profile. I'll start streaming sometime soon-ish. I want to give a more definite date but have spent the past 3 months jumping between crises which have left me no time to work on content nor energy to make good content. As the kids say, "It be like that sometimes".

Hopefully the next blog post can be more upbeat and cheerful, lol.
