does anyone know something similar sounding?

so i discovered album called 804 by Mayo, i find it very clean sounding but i can't tell what makes it sound like that. i have other album that gives me similar feeling, it's WEATHER STATION by inabakumori. despite it being basically on the other side of the music spectrum it still delivers that clean and "empty" sound similar to 804.

i have some theories what makes these 2 albums sound like this to me:

1. reverb and room - that's especially the case with WEATHER STATION, it sounds really wide and has that "room" throughout the album

2. album cover - both albums have album covers that don't have that many colors. there's not really any proof that cover affects music comprehension that much(and don't know how would you even test that) but that's one of the only two explanations i have for this phenomenon of mine.

anyway, could you suggest something that you think has the same clean and "empty" sound? or maybe you have more theories on this matter?
