We bear a guilt that is not our fault

Death is an undeniable truth, and life is an undeniable truth. But a question rages within me: Why were we forced into this? Our families ignited the spark of our existence without our consent. They ushered us into a house of suffering, without even asking: Are you content? We were born pure as snow, innocent of all sin.So how did we come to bear burdens we did not choose, and wounds we did not inflict? We grew up fighting for a life we didn't ask for, only to find sorrow staining our souls and anger dwelling in our eyes. And the pangs of conscience haunt us every night, as if we were guilty simply for existing. They say that acceptance of fate is the key to peace, but the key is heavy when the doors are made of the iron of pain. O Lord, either teach us how to be content, or return us to the nothingness that existed before birthโ€”more merciful than this bitter existence.
